Compatibility

How to Use

1. Stick the metal sustainer centrally on the clean, dry base of the container with a wick sticker.
2. Press it down firmly and hold it for a few seconds so it does not lift when the wax goes in.
3. Hold the wick upright with a centring bar, a clothes peg or two pencils laid across the rim.
4. Pour your wax once it has cooled slightly, keeping the wick straight as the level rises.
5. Let the candle set fully at room temperature, then remove the centring bar.
6. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before the first burn.
7. Burn for two to four hours the first time so the melt pool reaches the wall and the candle does not tunnel.

What size jar do these 2F wicks suit?

The F series is sized for containers roughly 2 to 2.5 inches across using paraffin wax. Wider than that on a single wick and the melt pool will not reach the edge.

How is the F series different from the other wick series here?

Series letter sets the thickness and therefore the burn, and each one is matched to a wax. The D and F series go with paraffin, the E series with gel wax, and the K series with soy. Length and pack count then vary inside each series. Match the wax first, then the jar width, then pick the length.

Do these wicks come with the metal base already attached?

How long should I trim the wick?
