Compatibility
Works with: epoxy resin, plaster of Paris, cement, jesmonite, candle wax and melt and pour soap base.
Pairs well with: mica powder, dried flowers and tealights in their own metal cups.
Not suitable for: food or oven use, since we state no food grade or heat rating for this mould; a bare flame on a resin cast, so keep each tealight in its cup.
How to Use
- Wash and dry the mould, then set it level on a flat board.
- Mix your resin, cement or plaster as its maker directs and pour slowly, tapping the sides to lift bubbles.
- Leave it to cure fully for the time the maker states; an early release tears edges.
- Flex the silicone back from one side and lift the piece out.
Before You Buy
- Mould only; resin, cement, wax and pigment are sold separately.
- The mould is white silicone; coloured pieces in the photos are example casts.
- The panel is 5mm deep, so a cement cast is thin; handle it gently until fully cured.
- The Round Tealight Holder mould casts a low round holder; this one casts a standing arch with a shelf.
