About This Product 💥
Key feature
Seal a finished acrylic painting with a flat, glare free final coat. Brustro Artists' Varnish Matte comes in a 200ml spray can and is misted on in light passes, so there are no brush marks. The maker states it is transparent, non-yellowing and non-removable once dry, so use it only on finished work.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size and finish is this Brustro varnish spray?
It is a 200ml spray can with a matte finish.
How is the matte spray different from the satin spray?
Matte leaves a flat finish with no shine. Satin, the other 200ml Brustro varnish spray, leaves a soft sheen.
Can I use it on oil paintings?
The maker shows it on acrylic paintings. For oils, let the painting dry fully and test on a corner first.
Should I pick a spray or a brush on varnish?
A spray lays a thin coat with no brush marks and reaches into texture. A brush on picture varnish in a bottle gives more control over where the coat goes. Pick the spray for textured or large work, the bottle for small, careful areas.
