Frequently Asked Questions
What comes in the case?
The label lists 12 oil pastels, 12 wax crayons, 12 full size colour pencils, 6 brush pens, 10 mini sketch pens, 6 water colour cakes, 1 round brush, 5 Supreme HD pencils, 1 spin eraser, 1 dust collector sharpener and 1 drawing book, 65+ pieces in all.
How is this different from the Camlin Painting Kit?
This case holds 65+ pieces including 6 water colour cakes, brush pens and sketch pens. The Camlin Painting Kit is a smaller pouch built around 24 water colour cakes, 12 oil pastels and 12 colour pencils.
Can the water colour cakes be used on any paper?
They work best on drawing book and cartridge paper. Thin copier paper wrinkles under wet colour.
Should I pick oil pastels or wax crayons from this kit for a young child?
Wax crayons are harder and cleaner in small hands. Oil pastels are softer and blend with a finger, so they suit children who want richer colour.
