Frequently Asked Questions

What does Camel acrylic matt medium do?
It reduces the shine of acrylic paint for a flat, matte look. The jar holds 100ml.

How is the matt medium different from the gloss medium?
The matt medium reduces the shine of acrylic paint for a flat, matte look. The gloss medium, also 100ml, adds shine and helps paint flow for glazes.

Can I use it with oil paint?
No, it is made for acrylic colours.

Should I use this matt medium or a pouring medium?
This medium is stirred into paint on the palette for brushwork and glazes. A pouring medium, sold in 500ml bottles, thins acrylic to a pourable flow for fluid art. Pick the pouring medium only for pour paintings.
