About This Product 💥
Key feature
Gouache is an opaque water based paint that dries to a flat, matte finish, which is why illustrators and design students like it. Camel Artist Gouache Colours give you 12 shades in 9ml tubes, enough to learn layering and flat colour work on paper and board.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is gouache paint?
Gouache is an opaque water based paint. It covers like poster colour but has a finer, smoother matte finish.
How many shades does the Camel 12 shade gouache set have?
12 shades in 9ml tubes.
How is this different from the Camel 24 shade gouache set?
The 24 shade set has twice the colours and includes 2 artist brushes. Tube size is the same 9ml.
Can I paint gouache over a dry layer?
Yes. Its opacity lets you cover darker layers, but brush lightly so the layer below does not lift.
