Camel Artist Watercolour Tubes | 18 Shades x 9ml - Large Tube Artist Set

More paint per colour. This Camel Artist set has 18 watercolour shades in 9ml tubes, almost twice the size of the 5ml tubes in the 24 shade set, so it suits painters who work large or often.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many tubes are in the Camel Artist 18 shade set?
18 tubes of 9ml each.

Why pick this over the 24 shade set?
This set has 18 tubes of 9ml. The 24 shade set has 24 tubes of 5ml, so it has more colours but less paint in each tube.

Which paper should I use with these tubes?
Watercolour paper. Thin paper buckles once wet, so use a watercolour pad for washes.

Should I pick tubes or Camel Artist cakes?
Tubes hold soft paint you squeeze onto a palette, so they are faster for large washes and strong colour. The Camel Artist cakes are dry 15.5x15.5mm pans in a tin you wet with a brush, lighter to carry for sketching. Pick tubes for studio work and cakes for travel.
