Add real metallic gold to fabric, canvas and craft with Camel Metallic Powder 171 Gold, a 5g jar of dry metallic pigment. It is a powder, not a ready paint. Camel makes this range to be mixed with Camel Medium 1 or Camel Medium 2, and once mixed it gives a matte finish with a shimmery metallic effect.

Compatibility

Works with: Camel Medium 1 or Camel Medium 2 as the binder; once mixed, fabric, canvas, paper and terracotta.

Pairs well with: a fine round brush for lines, a flat brush for fills and a small palette for mixing.

Not suitable for: use on its own. Dry powder will not stay on a surface without a medium, and it is not a loose glitter.

How to Use

1. Put a small amount of powder on a palette or in a lid.
2. Add medium a few drops at a time and mix until smooth. More medium gives flow, more powder a stronger colour.
3. Paint with a brush. On fabric, place card inside the garment first.
4. Let it dry fully. Mix only what you need for the session.
