Frequently Asked Questions

How many tools are in the set?
The set holds 14 black plastic tools.

Does it show how to use each tool?
Yes. The back of the card shows tools for sculpt, carve, smooth, cut and define, and detail.

How is this different from the 10 piece beige set?
This set has 14 black tools and a usage guide; the beige set has 10 plastic tools.

Should I pick plastic or stainless steel clay tools?
Plastic tools shape, smooth and cut soft clay and wash in warm water, but they are not made for carving leather hard clay. Stainless steel tools have sharper edges that cut cleaner detail and firmer clay, so pick steel for detailed sculpting and plastic for soft clay and younger makers.
