Frequently Asked Questions

How many tools come in the set?
The set holds 10 plastic tools.

What clay do these work with?
Air dry clay, polymer clay, foam clay, sculpting clay and play dough while soft.

How is this different from the 5 piece wooden set?
This set has 10 plastic tools that wash in water; the wooden set has 5 wooden ribs and a stick that should be wiped dry.

Should I pick plastic or stainless steel clay tools?
Plastic tools shape, smooth and cut soft clay and wash in warm water, but they are not made for carving leather hard clay. Stainless steel tools have sharper edges that cut cleaner detail and firmer clay, so pick steel for detailed sculpting and plastic for soft clay and younger makers.
