Key feature
All graphite, no wood. The Cretacolor Monolith is a solid graphite pencil in grade 8B with a thin lacquer coat instead of a wooden casing, very soft and dark, for rich shadows and bold strokes. Because the whole body is graphite, you can draw fine lines with the sharpened tip and lay wide tone by tilting it onto its side.
