Key feature
All graphite, no wood. The Cretacolor Monolith is a solid graphite pencil in grade 9B with a thin lacquer coat instead of a wooden casing, the softest and darkest in this range, for the deepest blacks. Because the whole body is graphite, you can draw fine lines with the sharpened tip and lay wide tone by tilting it onto its side.
