How to Use

1. Let the piece cure fully before you touch it with the tool.

3. Draw the tool along the edge in one steady pass rather than short scrapes.
4. Turn the piece and repeat on the other face until the seam disappears.
5. Finish with fine sanding and polish if you want a fully clear edge.

What does a deburring tool actually do?
It shaves off the thin raised ridge left where the two halves of a mould met, and the rough lip left around a drilled hole. The blade cuts that ridge away flush.

How is this different from the metal bodied deburring tool?
Same blade job, lighter build. The plastic body is easier to steer on small fiddly pieces and costs less. The metal version has more weight behind it for long straight edges.

Is the blade plastic too?
No. The body is plastic, the blade is metal. Only the handle is plastic.

Can I use it on 3D printed parts?
Yes. It shaves the layer ridges and support marks off printed plastic the same way it takes a seam off resin.
