Frequently Asked Questions

How many shades are in this DOMS acrylic marker set?
24 shades, 24 markers, each with a soft bullet tip and water based acrylic colour.

Should I buy the 24 or the 12 shade DOMS set?
This set has 24 shades and the other has 12. The 24 shade set adds pastels and greys, so you layer and mix less; the 12 shade set covers the core colours at a lower price.

Which surfaces do DOMS acrylic markers work on?
Rock, canvas, wood, MDF, card and paper. Seal outdoor or handled pieces with a clear varnish.

Acrylic markers or oil based paint markers: which should I pick?
These water based acrylic markers are low on smell and suit paper, canvas, rock and wood, so pick them for art and school work. Oil based paint markers such as the MK110 grip metal, glass and plastic better but smell of solvent, so pick those for marking hard, shiny surfaces.
