Specifications

Perfect for

• Tealight trays with flower decoration
• Ring and earring dishes
• Wedding favour trays
• Desk catch all trays

Compatibility

Works with: epoxy resin, plaster of Paris, cement, jesmonite, candle wax and melt and pour soap base.

Pairs well with: mica powder, dried flowers and tealights in their own metal cups.

Not suitable for: food or oven use, since we state no food grade or heat rating for this mould; a bare flame on a resin cast, so keep each tealight in its cup.

How to Use

1. Wash and dry the mould, then set it level on a flat board.
2. Mix your resin, cement or plaster as its maker directs and pour slowly, tapping the sides to lift bubbles.
3. Leave it to cure fully for the time the maker states; an early release tears edges.
4. Flex the silicone back from one side and lift the piece out.

Both are two piece sets. The Bow Tie moulds are 17x8cm with pointed ends; this set has rounded twin lobes and no stated size.

Can I cast cement and jesmonite in it as well as resin?
Yes. It is listed for resin, plaster, cement, jesmonite, wax and soap base; seal cement before wax touches it.

Mould or a ready made tealight holder, which should I pick?
