Elastic Bracelet Cord | 0.7mm | Transparent | 5m - Stretch Beading Thread

Make slip on stretch bracelets that need no clasp and no sizing. This spool holds 5m of 0.7mm clear elastic cord, soft enough to knot by hand and springy enough to pull over the hand and settle back.

Perfect for

• Rakhi threads and festive wrist bands

Compatibility

Works with: seed beads, acrylic and pearl beads, crystal beads and charms with a hole wider than 0.7mm.

Pairs well with: crimp covers and jewellery glue to seal the knot.

Not suitable for: heavy metal beads or fixed clasp designs, as elastic stretches under load.

How to Use

1. Cut a length about 15cm longer than the wrist.
2. Pre stretch the cord firmly before threading so the bracelet does not loosen.
3. Thread the beads and tie a surgeon knot, then a second knot on top.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size cord is this and how much do I get?
It is 0.7mm, 5m of transparent stretch cord on 1 spool.

How is 0.7mm different from the 0.6mm cord?
0.7mm is a little stronger and knots more securely; 0.6mm passes through smaller bead holes such as seed beads.

Will it fit my beads?
Yes, as long as the bead hole is wider than 0.7mm; most acrylic, crystal and pearl beads take it.

Should I pick elastic cord or beading wire?
Elastic cord makes slip on bracelets with no clasp. Beading wire holds heavier beads and needs crimps and a clasp, so pick it for necklaces and fixed designs.
