Cast hard, clear jewellery and small pieces with this 665g epoxy resin and hardener set, mixed 3:1 by weight (499g resin and 166g hardener). The label gives a 45 minute pot life at 25°C, a full cure in 24 to 48 hours and a cured hardness of 80 to 90 Shore A. The 665g set suits a first batch of pendants and keychains.

Compatibility

Works with: silicone moulds, sealed wood, MDF, canvas, resin pigments, mica powder, alcohol ink and fully dried flowers.

Pairs well with: jewellery moulds, mica powder and bezels.

Not suitable for: very deep single pours; use a deep casting resin for thick layers.

How to Use

1. Weigh 3 parts resin (A) to 1 part hardener (B); measure by weight, not volume.
2. Stir slowly for 5 to 7 minutes, scraping the sides and base.
3. Pour into clean, dry moulds within the 45 minute pot life.
4. Pop surface bubbles with a heat gun or torch.
5. Leave undisturbed for 24 to 48 hours before demoulding, as the label advises.
