Fevicryl Mouldit | 50g - Two Part Epoxy Modelling Compound

Fevicryl Mouldit is a two part epoxy modelling compound, not an air dry clay. You knead the resin base and the hardener together and it sets by chemical reaction, so it goes rock hard, bonds to wood, metal and MDF, and does not shrink the way a water based clay does. This is the 50g pack.

Before You Buy

• This is not air dry clay. The two parts must be kneaded together in equal measure before use, and once mixed you have a limited working time.
• Mix only what you need. Any compound you mix and do not use is wasted, because it sets whether you work it or not.
• It bonds hard to skin and to surfaces. Work on a sheet and wash your hands before the compound sets.
• We state no food grade rating for this compound. Keep it away from anything that touches food, and away from small children.

How is Mouldit different from air dry clay?
Air dry clay hardens by losing water and shrinks slightly as it goes. Mouldit sets by chemical reaction between a resin base and a hardener, so it does not shrink, it sets far harder, and it grips wood, metal and MDF.

Do I need to bake it?
No. It sets on its own once the two parts are mixed. No oven and no kiln.

Which pack size should I take?
The 50g pack suits a single small piece or a first try. The 90g covers a few jewellery pieces or a small mural. The 900g super saver pack is the one for a large mural or repeated work.
