Fevicryl Mouldit Epoxy Modelling Compound | 900g - Two Part Mural Clay

Fevicryl Mouldit is a two part epoxy modelling compound, not an air dry clay. Knead equal amounts of the resin and the hardener together and it sets by chemical reaction into a hard piece that grips wood, metal and MDF. Fevicryl prints that it starts setting after 15 to 20 minutes and dries at room temperature, with no baking. This is the 900g pack, a super saver box with 450g of resin and 450g of hardener.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast does Mouldit set?
Fevicryl prints that it starts setting after 15 to 20 minutes and then dries at room temperature. No oven and no kiln.

Which Mouldit pack size should I take?
This 900g pack is the one for a large mural or repeated work. The 50g pouch suits a first try and the 90g box covers a few small pieces.

Will it stick to MDF and glass?
Yes. It grips wood, MDF, metal, glass, terracotta and hardboard, which is why it suits murals built on a board.

How is Mouldit different from air dry clay?
Air dry clay hardens by losing water and shrinks slightly. Mouldit sets by chemical reaction, so it does not shrink, sets far harder and grips the base. Pick air dry clay for light models and Mouldit for murals and repairs.
