Wrap and hide flower stems with self-sealing dark green floral tape, made for bouquets, wire stems and handmade flowers. It is a stretch crepe paper tape with no sticky side, so it seals to itself only when you pull and stretch it as you wrap. This dark green roll is 1.2cm wide and 10m long. Dark green reads like a mature stem and hides wire well on deeper foliage.

Not suitable for: sticking to glass, metal, plastic or paper the way an ordinary adhesive tape does. This tape bonds to itself, not to smooth surfaces, so it is not a general purpose tape and it is not meant to carry weight.

How to Use

1. Tear off a length from the roll; it tears cleanly by hand.
2. Hold one end against the top of the stem at a slight angle and press it down with your thumb.
3. Pull and stretch the tape as you wind it down the stem. Stretching is what makes it seal, so an unstretched wrap will come loose.
4. Overlap each turn by about half the width so no wire shows through.
5. Pinch and roll the last few centimetres between your fingers to finish the end.

Before You Buy

• This is one roll, not a multipack.
• There is no sticky side. If you want tape that sticks to paper or a surface on contact, this is not it.
• Screen colours vary, so the shade on your monitor may read slightly lighter or darker than the roll.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is floral tape sticky?
Not in the usual way. There is no glue layer you can feel, and it will not stick to your fingers, to glass or to a table. It only grips once you stretch it, which presses the tape against itself and locks the wrap in place.

How is the 1.2cm x 10m roll different from the bigger rolls?
It is the small roll, so it is the one to pick for a single bouquet or for trying a shade before you commit. The 1.3cm x 20m and 1.3cm x 30m rolls are slightly wider and last much longer for regular flower making.
