Perfect for
- Realistic tulip and rose petals in clay
- Petals for clay flower bouquets and vases
- Veined petals in thin paste for decor
- Texture on resin clay flowers
Compatibility
Works with: Polymer clay, air dry clay, foam clay and thin modelling paste.
Pairs well with: Polymer clay, a clay roller, a craft blade and acrylic paint.
Not suitable for: Pouring resin, soap or wax, since it is a press veiner.
How to Use
- Roll clay or paste into a thin sheet and cut a petal shape.
- Lay it on one half, press the second half on top firmly and evenly.
- Peel the halves apart and shape the veined petal while it is soft.
Before You Buy
- This is a press veiner for thin sheets, not a cavity mould for pouring resin. For large leaves see the leaf silicone mould pair at 18.5x9.5cm.
- We state no food grade rating for this mould, so use it for soap, wax, clay and resin rather than for food.
- Do not cut inside the cavity. A knife mark spoils the detail for good.
- Press a thin, rolled sheet of clay or paste between the two halves. It does not hold a poured liquid.
