Compatibility
Works with: acrylic paint, chalk paint, spray paint, fabric paint and texture paste, on canvas, MDF, wood, walls, paper and fabric.
Pairs well with: stencil and mop brushes, which press paint straight down instead of pushing it sideways under the cut edges.
Not suitable for: heat guns, ovens or any hot process, and curved or heavily textured surfaces where the sheet cannot lie flat.
How to Use
- Wipe the surface clean and let it dry.
- Tape the stencil down on all four sides so it cannot shift.
- Load the brush lightly and blot most of the paint off on scrap paper.
- Dab straight down over the cut shapes, building the colour in thin layers.
- Lift the stencil while the paint is still wet, then wash it in warm soapy water and dry it flat.

How is this different from design number 5?
Design 4 is the denser of the two, packed with small pointed star florets and fine dot detail. Design 5 is more open, with larger teardrop petals and wider gaps between the shapes.
Can I use this on fabric?
Yes. Fabric paint and acrylic both work. Slide card inside the garment first so nothing bleeds through to the back.
