• No two feathers are identical, so shape, length and marking vary within a pack.
• Feathers arrive flattened from packing. Hold them in steam for a few seconds and they open back out.
• Colour sits on the feather, so heavy handling or damp can rub it onto light fabric. Test first.
• Glue at the quill end only, so the barbs stay soft and keep their movement.
