Overview

Turn out a full batch of soap bars in one pour. Nine hexagon cavities with a honeycomb texture pressed into the face, so the bar comes out patterned straight from the mould. Flexible silicone peels straight back off the set piece, so nothing needs lining, greasing or prising out, and the tray washes down ready for the next pour. Colour is assigned on availability, so the tray you receive may not be the colour photographed. It makes no difference to the soap.

How to Use

1. Wash the new mould in warm soapy water, rinse and dry it fully before the first pour.
2. Sit the tray on a flat baking sheet or board so it can be moved without flexing and spilling.
3. Pour your melted base or mixed batter into the middle of each cavity and let it spread out to the corners.
4. Spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to pop bubbles, or tap the board for resin and cement.
5. Leave it strictly alone to set. Melt and pour firms in 40 to 60 minutes; cold process and resin need far longer.
6. Release by pushing the base of each cavity upward and peeling the silicone back, not by pulling the bar.
7. Wrap finished soap promptly, since melt and pour draws moisture from the air and beads if left open.
