Cast a straight sided pot covered edge to edge in hexagon honeycomb, a texture that catches light on concrete and stays crisp in resin. The white silicone mould peels back off the detail so the pot comes out whole.

Compatibility

Works with: epoxy resin, plaster of Paris, cement, jesmonite, candle wax and melt and pour soap base.

Pairs well with: resin pigments, mica powder, dried flowers, tealights and pre-waxed wicks.

Not suitable for: food use, oven baking or direct flame; we state no food grade or heat rating for this mould, so keep it to resin, cement, plaster, wax and soap. Do not use the cast as a burning vessel without a tealight in its own cup.

How to Use

1. Wash the mould in warm soapy water and dry it fully before the first pour.
2. Pour slowly down the inside wall, then tap the board for a minute so trapped air rises out.
3. Let the piece cure fully to the time your material states, since an early release tears the edge.
4. Peel the silicone back from one side and work round the rim; sand any seam with fine paper.

Before You Buy

• Sold as the silicone mould only. Resin, cement, plaster, wax, wick and pigment are not included.
• The mould is white silicone; the coloured pieces in the photos are finished casts.
• The pack advises keeping the mould away from sharp objects and open flame, and washing it with mild soap and water before use.

Can I pour cement and jesmonite as well as resin?
Yes. The flexible silicone takes epoxy resin, plaster of Paris, cement, jesmonite, candle wax and melt and pour soap base.
