Compatibility

Pairs well with: a soft flat brush for smoothing, a cotton cloth for polishing and a clear varnish to seal.
Not suitable for: food or cake decoration, and heavy wear surfaces unless sealed with a clear coat.
How to Use
- Brush a thin coat of gilding glue on a clean, dry surface.
- Wait about 15 minutes until the glue turns clear and tacky.
- Lift a sheet with its tissue and lay it on the glue, then dab it down with a soft brush.
- Brush away loose leaf and patch any gaps with small pieces.
- Let it dry for 1 to 3 hours, then polish lightly with a cotton cloth and seal with varnish.
Before You Buy
- Gilding glue is sold separately and is needed to fix the leaf.
- The pack states the leaf is non-edible, so it is not for cakes or food.
- The same foil also comes in 3x3 Inch (7.6x7.6cm) sheets; this pack is the 6x6 Inch size.
- Italian gilding foil is a different pack of 10 sheets of 5.5x5.5 Inch.
