How do keyhole hanging plates work?
Screw the plate to the back of your piece. The head of a wall screw goes into the wide part of the keyhole, then the piece slides down and locks in place.
How is this different from the movement hanger hook?
These 4 plates are screwed to the back of the board and let it sit flat. The movement hanger hook is a single steel strip that slips over the movement shaft with no screws.
