About This Product 💥
Key feature
Most fabric markers vanish on a black T-shirt. The Kuretake Zig Fabricolor marker uses opaque, water based pigment ink, so this silver shows up on light and dark fabric alike. It has a 2mm bullet tip for lines and lettering, and the design becomes permanent once you iron it.

Compatibility
Works with: cotton, denim, canvas and other fabrics you can iron, light or dark, plus paper and wood.
Pairs well with: a plain canvas tote or T-shirt and a piece of card to slip inside.
Not suitable for: fabric that cannot be ironed, such as some synthetics and nylon, since heat is what fixes the ink.
How to Use
- Wash and dry new fabric first, without fabric softener.
- Slip a piece of card inside the garment so ink does not reach the back.
- Draw your design and let the ink dry fully.
- Iron the design without steam to fix the colour.
- Wait a day before the first wash, then wash inside out.
Before You Buy
- The design is only permanent after ironing.
- Photos 2 to 4 are shared across the Fabricolor range and show other Fabricolor markers.
You will Need
- A plain T-shirt or tote
- A piece of card
- An iron

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Kuretake Fabricolor silver marker work on dark fabric?
Yes. The ink is opaque, so it shows on dark fabric as well as light.
How is silver different from gold in this range?
Only the shade changes. This one is silver and the other is gold; both have the same 2mm bullet tip.
How do I make the design permanent?
Let the ink dry, then iron the design without steam.
Kuretake Fabricolor or ICO T-Shirt marker, which should I pick?
The Fabricolor ink is opaque and has a 2mm tip, so pick it for dark fabric. The ICO marker has a 1 to 3mm tip and bright shades, so pick it for light fabric.
