Leaf Veiner Silicone Mould | 2 Piece | 7x4.5cm - Clay Flower Leaves

Press a flat leaf of clay between these two silicone halves and it comes out with a serrated edge and a full set of veins on both faces. Each half is 7x4.5cm (2.8x1.8 inch), and the floral leaf shape suits rose and hibiscus style leaves for handmade flowers.

How to Use

1. Roll clay thin and cut a leaf a little larger than the veiner.
2. Lay it on the bottom half and press the top half down firmly and evenly.
3. Lift the top half and peel the leaf off, then shape or wire it while still soft.

• We state no food grade rating for this mould, so use it for clay, resin, wax and soap, not for food.
• We state no oven temperature rating either, so lift polymer clay out of the mould before you bake it.
• This is a two piece press for thin leaves, not a cavity mould for pouring resin.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big is the leaf veiner?
Each of the 2 halves is 7x4.5cm (2.8x1.8 inch).

How is this different from the feather veiner?
This one presses a 7x4.5cm serrated leaf. The feather veiner is longer and narrower at 8x3.4cm and presses feather barbs.

Can I use it with foam sheets?
It is made to press thin clay. We have not tested foam sheets, so try a scrap first.

Should I press air dry clay or polymer clay into it?
Air dry clay hardens in the open air and shrinks a little, so pick it for wall art and decor. Polymer clay only sets once baked and does not shrink, so pick it for jewellery and fine detail, and lift it out of the mould before baking.
