Frequently Asked Questions
How big is the morning glory flower piece from this mould?
This mould casts a flat back spray of morning glory flowers, 45mm across, 32mm deep (1.8x1.3 inch).
How is this different from the hydrangea mould?
Both are 45mm across and 32mm deep. This one casts a spray of morning glory flowers, the hydrangea mould casts a hydrangea cluster with leaves.
Can I use soy wax in this mould?
Yes. It is listed for candle wax, so soy, paraffin and blended waxes suit it. It also works with melt and pour soap and epoxy resin.
Should I pick a flat back mould or a 3D flower mould?
A flat back mould like this one casts a 45mm decoration that you fix onto another candle, so pick it to dress up pillar candles. A 3D mould such as the lotus mould casts a standing flower candle 53mm across that burns on its own, so pick that for a candle by itself.
