Motichoor Ladoo Candle Silicone Mould | 5.3x4cm | Pack of 1 - Soy Wax & Resin

Cast a motichoor ladoo with the tight boondi bead texture across the whole dome. The white silicone mould is squat and wide at 5.3x4cm (2.1x1.6 inch), measured from the maker's dimension image, so the ladoo sits low and broad like the real sweet and takes less wax than the taller round ladoo mould.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the motichoor ladoo mould?
It is 5.3x4cm (2.1x1.6 inch), measured from the maker's dimension image, giving a wide, low ladoo.

How is this different from the Round Ladoo mould?
This one is 5.3x4cm and squat; the Round Ladoo mould is 4.5x6cm and gives a taller ball.

Can I cast resin or soap in it as well as wax?
Yes. The flexible silicone takes epoxy resin, plaster of Paris and melt and pour soap base along with candle wax. We state no food grade rating for this mould, so keep it to craft casting.

Silicone mould or polycarbonate mould, which should I pick?
This silicone motichoor ladoo mould flexes, so it releases a shaped, textured candle without cracking the detail. The polycarbonate pillar moulds we sell are rigid and give a smooth, glossy plain pillar. Pick silicone for shaped candles and polycarbonate for plain pillars.
