About This Product ๐ฅ
Key feature
NARA white polymer clay in a 55g bar stays soft on the table for as long as you work and hardens only in a home oven, which makes fine earrings and charms possible. White also lightens every other shade and is the base for marble effects.
Specifications

| Brand | NARA |
| Material | Clay |
| Weight | 55g |

Perfect for
- Earring blanks painted after baking
- Lightening and mixing other clay colours
- Marble and terrazzo slabs
- Miniature food and dollhouse ware
Compatibility
Works with: Home ovens, clay tools, cutters, silicone moulds, pasta machines, earring posts and jump rings.
Pairs well with: Clay cutters, jewellery findings and gloss varnish.
Not suitable for: Air drying, microwaves or open flame.
How to Use
- Knead until warm and pliable, since cold clay cracks.
- Shape on a tile or baking paper.
- Bake at 110 to 150 degrees C as the pack states, then let it cool before handling.
Before You Buy
- The pack states a bake of 110 to 150 degrees C. Do not go past 200 degrees C, since overheating scorches the clay and gives off fumes.
- Use an oven thermometer rather than the dial, and bake on a ceramic tile or baking paper, not on a tray you cook food on.
- We state no food grade rating for this clay, so keep it to jewellery and decorative pieces.
- It does not air dry. An unbaked piece stays soft.
You will Need
- A home oven and an oven thermometer
- A ceramic tile or baking paper
- Clay cutters

Frequently Asked Questions
At what temperature do I bake NARA clay?
The pack states 110 to 150 degrees C, and never above 200 degrees C.
How is this different from the 250g white polymer clay block?
This NARA bar is 55g, enough for a few pairs of earrings. The white polymer clay block is 250g for bigger batches.
Can I add earring posts before baking?
Yes. Push in eye pins or press posts before baking, or glue findings on after it cools.
How is polymer clay different from air dry clay?
Polymer clay only sets in a home oven and does not shrink, so pick it for earrings, charms and fine miniatures. Air dry clay hardens in the open air and shrinks a little, so pick it for idols, school models and decor.
