- The photos are shared with the 240 gsm clear primed roll, which is why the linen looks beige there. This 400 gsm roll has a white primed face.
How to Use
- Unroll the canvas on a clean, flat surface and let it relax for a few hours.
- Measure and cut your piece, leaving about 5 cm extra on every side for wrapping.
- Lay the canvas primed face down and centre your stretcher frame on it.
- Staple from the middle of each side outward, pulling the canvas evenly as you go.
- Fold and staple the corners last, then check the surface for slack before you paint.

This roll is heavier and white primed with titanium gesso. The 240 gsm roll is lighter and clear primed, so its natural linen colour shows through.
Do I need to add gesso before painting?
No. It is already triple primed. Add a coat only if you want a smoother surface.
Can I use it for acrylic as well as oil?
Yes. Pan Art makes it for both oil and acrylic painting.
