Compatibility

Works with: soy wax, paraffin wax, beeswax, gel wax, epoxy resin, plaster of Paris and melt and pour soap base.

Pairs well with: pre-waxed cotton wicks, wick stickers, candle colours and candle aroma oils.

Not suitable for: food use, oven baking, direct flame or use as a burning vessel. We state no food grade rating for this mould, so use it for wax, soap and resin.

How to Use

1. Wash and dry the mould and sit it level on a tray.
2. Let the wax cool slightly after adding colour and fragrance.
3. Pour into the centre so the wax spreads into the petal impression.
4. Tap the tray to lift trapped air from the pressed top, then let it set fully.
5. Push gently on the base and peel the silicone back to release.

How is this different from the Jalebi mould?
This one is 2.5x5.4cm with a pressed petal top; the Jalebi mould is 2x6cm and flat with an open spiral.

Can I use this mould for soap and resin too?
Yes. The flexible silicone takes melt and pour soap base, epoxy resin and plaster of Paris as well as candle wax. We state no food grade rating for this mould, so use it for craft casting only.

This silicone mould flexes, so it releases a shaped, detailed candle without cracking it. The polycarbonate pillar moulds we sell are rigid and give a smooth, glossy plain pillar. Pick silicone for shaped mithai candles and polycarbonate for plain pillars.
