What size is this box?
It measures 8x12x2.3 Inch (20.3x30.5x5.8cm), with a hinged slat lid.

How is this different from the other slat box?
Only the size changes. This one is 8x12x2.3 Inch; the other is 6x10x2.3 Inch.

Can I stain or paint it?
Yes. The pine is unfinished, so it takes wood stain or acrylic paint; seal it with varnish.

Should I pick this slat box or a solid lid box?
Pick this slat box for a crate look that shows the gift inside. Pick a solid lid box like the 8x8x5cm square box to hide the contents and decoupage the lid.
