Compatibility

Works with: Quartz clock movements with an 18mm spindle, made for boards 3 to 7mm thick. The spindle is the threaded tube that carries the hands; it must pass through the board and still leave thread for the nut. A 12mm spindle suits boards up to 3mm only, so it is too short for this 3.3mm board.

Pairs well with: Clock hands made for a 10 inch clock, a clock dial or stick on numbers, and acrylic paints.

Not suitable for: 12mm spindle movements, which only suit boards up to 3mm, or damp spots near a sink or in a bathroom unless the MDF is sealed.
