Compatibility

Works with: Quartz clock movements with an 18mm spindle, made for boards 3 to 7mm thick. The spindle is the threaded tube that carries the hands; it must pass through the board and still leave thread for the nut. A 12mm spindle suits boards up to 3mm only, so it is too short for this 3.3mm board.

Pairs well with: Short clock hands made for an 8 inch clock, small stick on numbers, and acrylic paints.

Not suitable for: 12mm spindle movements, which are made for boards up to 3mm and are too short here, or damp spots such as bathrooms unless the MDF is sealed.
