About This Product 💥
Key feature
Give a handmade toy a clean, glossy face that locks in place. These black plastic safety eyes are 6mm (0.6cm) across, push through the fabric from the front and lock with a washer pressed on from behind. The pack holds 50 eyes and 50 washers, enough for 25 characters, which suits small amigurumi animals, keychain toys and tiny dolls.

Compatibility
Works with: crochet and knitted fabric, felt, fleece and soft toy fabric the post can pass through.
Pairs well with: amigurumi yarn, crochet hooks and toy stuffing.
Not suitable for: wood, hard plastic or any surface the post cannot pierce, or pieces already stuffed and closed, since the washer is fitted from inside.
How to Use
- Mark both eye positions before stuffing and check the look from the front.
- Push the post through the fabric from the outside, between the stitches.
- Press a washer onto the post from the inside, flat side against the fabric, until it will not move.
- Stuff and close the piece.
Before You Buy
- Fit the eyes before stuffing. Once a washer is pressed home it is meant to stay.
- We state no toy safety rating. These are small loose parts until fitted, so keep them away from young children and pets while you work.
- The main photo shows the range pack rather than this exact size; the size photo shows the 0.6cm marking.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many eyes come in the pack?
50 eyes and 50 washers, enough for 25 characters with two eyes each.
How is the 6mm size different from the others?
This one is 6mm; step down to 5mm for a smaller face or up to 7mm for a bigger head. The eye and washer are otherwise the same.
Will these hold in loose crochet fabric?
Yes. The post passes between the stitches and the washer grips from behind. Work the post through a gap rather than a cut so the stitches close around it.
Should I use safety eyes or googly eyes?
Safety eyes lock through fabric with a washer, so pick them for crochet and plush toys. Googly eyes have a flat back that is glued on, so pick them for paper, card and foam crafts.
