How to Use

1. Set the tray on a rigid board, since four deep cavities are heavy once filled.
2. Mix and colour a full batch so all four bars match.
3. Pour into the corner of each cavity and let the batter climb, which limits trapped air.
4. Tap the board to release bubbles from the bottom of the 3.5 cm cavity.
5. Cover and insulate a cold process pour, or leave a melt and pour batch to set uncovered.
6. Wait until the bar is firm right through, then flex the sides and push up from the base.

What size bars does this make?
Two square bars at 6.5 x 6.5 cm and two round bars at 7.5 cm diameter, all 3.5 cm deep, holding about 125 g each.

How is this different from the 16 cavity square mould?
This makes four deep full sized bars. The 16 cavity mould makes sixteen thin 10 g squares, so one is for finished bars and the other for samplers and favours.

Is this deep enough for a swirl?
Yes. At 3.5 cm there is room to layer colours and drag a swirl through the depth of the bar, which a shallow tray does not allow.

What colour will my mould be?
Silicomolds assigns mould colour on availability, so the tray you receive may not match the colour shown. The mould colour does not transfer to the soap.
