Cast spiral roses in four sizes, small rosettes and leaves from one off white silicone sheet, so a full floral arrangement comes from a single mould. It measures 20x11.5cm (7.9x4.5 inch), and the largest rose is big enough to be the centre of a plaque or candle.

Compatibility

Not suitable for: food, cake decorating or chocolate, since we state no food grade rating for this mould, and sharp tools, which cut the silicone.

How to Use

1. Wipe the mould clean and dry, since dust shows on a resin or wax cast.
2. Press clay in firmly from the centre outwards, or pour resin or wax slowly into one corner so air can escape.
3. Level the back flush with a card or blade, then leave the piece to set, dry or cure fully.
4. Flex the silicone back from the edges and lift the piece out rather than pulling it.

This one is a 20x11.5cm sheet with roses in four sizes. The mini rose mould is 10x7cm with 6 cavities of one small open rose.

Can I make rose wax melts with it?
Yes. Pour candle wax into the rose cavities and let them set fully before you lift them out.

Should I press air dry clay or polymer clay into it?
Air dry clay hardens in the open air and shrinks a little, so pick it for wall art and decor. Polymer clay only sets once baked and does not shrink, so pick it for jewellery and fine detail, and lift it out of the mould before baking.
