Frequently Asked Questions

How many tools come in the set?
The kit holds 5 stainless steel tools.

What clay do these work with?
Air dry clay, polymer clay, pottery clay and sculpting clay, worked while soft or leather hard.

Should I pick plastic or stainless steel clay tools?
Plastic tools shape, smooth and cut soft clay and wash in warm water, but they are not made for carving leather hard clay. Stainless steel tools have sharper edges that cut cleaner detail and firmer clay, so pick steel for detailed sculpting and plastic for soft clay and younger makers.

How do I look after steel tools?
Wipe them with a damp cloth while the clay is still soft and dry them before storing, so they do not spot.
