Thailand Made Floral Tape | Dark Green | 1.3cm x 20m | 1 Roll - Stem Wrap

Wrap and hide flower stems with self-sealing dark green floral tape from our higher quality line. It is a stretch crepe paper tape with no sticky side that seals to itself as you pull and wrap. The roll is 1.3cm (0.5 inch) wide and 20m long, and the dark green reads like a mature stem.

Specifications

Perfect for

• Covering wire stems on paper and fabric flowers
• Bouquet handles and boutonnieres
• Joining several stems into one bunch
• Floral jewellery and haldi or mehendi decor

Compatibility

Works with: floral wire and stems, artificial flowers, stamens, paper and fabric petals.

Pairs well with: ribbons, bouquet wrapping sheets and craft glue.

Not suitable for: sticking to glass, metal, plastic or paper like an ordinary tape; it bonds only to itself.

How to Use

1. Hold one end at the top of the stem at a slight angle.
2. Pull and stretch the tape as you wind down; stretching is what makes it seal.
3. Overlap each turn by about half the width.
4. Pinch and roll the last few centimetres to finish.

Before You Buy

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is this floral tape roll?
It is 1.3cm (0.5 inch) wide and 20m long, 1 Roll.

How is this different from the standard 1.3cm x 20m dark green roll?
Both are 1.3cm wide and 20m long. This is the original higher quality roll from Thailand; the standard roll is the lower cost option in the same size.

Is floral tape sticky?
Not on contact. It grips only once stretched, which presses the tape onto itself and locks the wrap.

Should I pick floral tape or washi tape for stems?
Floral tape stretches and seals round a wire into a stem that looks natural. Washi tape is a flat paper tape that sticks to surfaces and suits decorating, not wrapping stems.
