Compatibility

Not suitable for: Outdoor or bathroom use, since raw MDF swells with moisture unless you seal it first. Not a chopping or serving surface.

How to Use

1. Wipe the base clean and seal it with a coat of primer or diluted white glue if you want extra protection.
2. Lay your tiles out dry inside the engraved lines first, so you can adjust before anything is fixed.
3. Glue the tiles down one section at a time and leave a small, even gap between them.
4. Let the adhesive cure fully before you grout.
5. Push grout into the gaps, wipe the tile faces clean with a damp cloth, and let it set.
6. Seal the back and the edges, then add a hook or a stand if you plan to hang it.

• This is the bare MDF base only. Tiles, adhesive, grout and any hanging hardware are bought separately.
• The surface is raw unfinished MDF, so expect a natural wood tone and a light surface texture.
• The design is engraved as guide lines, not cut all the way through, so the base stays one solid piece.
• MDF is not water resistant unless you seal it, so keep the finished piece indoors.
