Wax Seal Colouring Pen | Pink | 1mm Tip | 13cm | Pack of 1 - Seal Highlighting

Bring out the detail on a finished wax seal. This is a fine tip paint pen, not sealing wax: it is 13cm long with a 1mm tip and oil based pink ink, and you draw it over the raised parts of a set wax seal so the stamped design lifts off the background.

The maker, SD, sells it as a wax pen in its ColoRing range and describes the ink as oily, glossy and strong in coverage.

Before You Buy

• This is a marker pen, not sealing wax. If you want wax to melt and stamp, the sealing wax beads and sticks in this range are what you need.
• The ink is oil based, so it stays wet longer than a water based pen and can smudge until dry.
• One pen, one colour. The wider colour range shown on the maker's pack is not all stocked here.

You will Need

• sealing wax and seals
• sealing wax beads

You may also like

• stamps and ink pads
• journaling accessories

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the tip size and how long is the pen?
A 1mm tip on a pen 13cm (5.1 inch) long, one pen per pack.

Is this sealing wax that I light and drip?
No. It is an oil based paint pen used to colour a wax seal after the wax has set. Never hold a flame to it.

Can I use it on other surfaces?
The maker lists lacquer, metal, wood, stone, glass, fabric and paper as surfaces. Test on scrap first.

How is it different from the sealing wax beads and sticks?
Beads and sticks are the wax that forms the seal. This pen adds the coloured highlight on top once the seal is hard.
