About This Product 💥
Key feature
Twelve packs of soft white air dry modelling clay, portioned so a class or a workshop can share them. White is the best base for painted Ganesha idols and models because colours sit true on it, and it hardens in the open air with no oven.
Specifications
| Type | Soft air dry modelling clay |
| Material | Clay |
| Colour | White |
| Pack | Pack of 12 |
| Best for | Painted idols, school models and moulded shapes |
Perfect for
- Ganesha idols and diyas painted after drying
- School models and dioramas
- Pressed shapes from silicone moulds
- Class and workshop sharing
Compatibility
Works with: Clay modelling tools, rolling pins, cutters, silicone moulds, wire armatures and MDF bases.
Pairs well with: Acrylic paints, clear varnish, craft glue and clay tools.
Not suitable for: Oven or kiln firing, holding water, or outdoor use unless sealed.
Before You Buy
- Air dry clay shrinks a little as it dries. Build thick pieces over a foil or wire armature so the outside does not dry faster than the inside and crack.
- Reseal the pack as soon as you finish. Clay that dries out in the packet cannot be brought back.
- Dried pieces are not waterproof. Seal with varnish if a piece will be handled, and we state no food grade rating for this clay, so keep it to decorative work.
