Perfect for
- Mandala dot art
- Lippan clay and mirror work
- Acrylic painting and wall plates
- Workshops and beginner practice
Compatibility
Works with: acrylic paints, paint markers, dotting tools, and Lippan clay with mirrors.
Pairs well with: gold or silver Lippan mirrors for a classic Kutch finish.
Not suitable for: string art with nails, as a 3.3mm board is too thin to hold them.
How to Use
- Wipe the board clean. If you prime it, use one thin coat of gesso so the engraved lines still show.
- Fill the design with paint, dots or clay, working from the centre out.
- Press mirrors into wet clay if you are doing Lippan work.
- Seal the finished piece with varnish.
Before You Buy
- The board comes plain with engraved lines only. Paints, clay and mirrors are sold separately.
