Frequently Asked Questions

What comes in this calligraphy pen set?
A green fountain pen, 4 nib sizes in all and 3 blue ink cartridges.

How is the English script set different from the Devanagari set?
Both hold 4 nib sizes and 3 blue cartridges. This set has nibs for English straight script and a green pen; the Devanagari set has nibs cut for Hindi strokes and an orange pen.

Can I use bottled ink in this pen?
No. The pen is filled by cartridge and no converter is supplied, so use ink cartridges that fit it.

Cartridge pen set or a chisel tip calligraphy marker, which should I pick?
This set gives 4 nib widths on one refillable pen with 3 cartridges, so a student who wants to practise several widths should pick it. A chisel tip marker such as the 2.0mm ZIG pen is one fixed width with no ink to handle, better for quick card and journal lettering.
