Lay gold leaf, silver leaf and foil flakes onto your artwork with a glue made for the job. This water based gilding adhesive (also called gilding size) goes on white and is left to turn tacky, then the leaf is pressed onto it and burnished. The 50ml bottle is a mid size bottle for regular hobby gilding.

How to Use

1. Clean and dry the surface.
2. Brush a thin, even coat of gilding glue only where you want the leaf.
3. Wait until the white glue turns clear and tacky; do not apply leaf while it is still wet.
4. Lay the leaf or flakes on top and press gently with a soft brush.
5. Brush away the loose leaf and seal the piece if it will be handled.
