Before You Buy

• These are natural shells, so shape, size, shade and marking vary from shell to shell and from pack to pack. The photo shows a representative pack.
• Sold by weight, not by count, so the number of shells varies with how large they run.
• Some shells arrive chipped or sandy. That is normal for a natural product and we do not sort them out.
• Rinse and dry them before you embed them in resin, since trapped moisture clouds a cast.

You may also like

• macrame cords and supplies
• bracelet making supplies
• epoxy resin and hardener

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these shells come with a hole for stringing?
Yes. The shells in the photo each carry a small hole, so cord or a jump ring goes straight through. The pack is 50g of small white cowries.

How are these different from the natural cowrie shells?
This pack is bright white with a hole and is sold as 50g. The natural cowrie packs are olive and tan, about 2cm long, come in 50g and 100g, and we state no hole on them.
