Frequently Asked Questions

How much shiner is in the bottle?
The bottle holds 50ml.

What does it actually do?
It soaks into the paper and dries hard, so coils keep their shape and gain a gloss. It is what makes quilled earrings stand up to handling.

Can I use it on other paper craft?
Yes. It seals paper flowers, card and other light paper craft in the same way.

Should I use shiner or craft glue?
Shiner coats a finished piece and dries hard and glossy, so it suits sealing. White craft glue joins strip ends and coils, so you need it while building; shiner is not a glue.
